AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed and is a children's ministry that is held on Wednesday evenings, beginning at 6:15 p.m. Every evening begins with prayer and a meal is then served before everyone is dismissed into their age group to begin the evening's activities. These activities include class time, game time and counsel time.
A bus is available for those who need transportation to or from the program. Children are asked to wear tennis shoes (for game time) and bring a Bible if they have one. This is a great time for children to get to know each other in a Christian setting and to learn about God and all the wonderful lessons and stories that are in his Word.
